Fees, in plain language
Playing is free. No purchase is ever necessary. Here is exactly how Solaffle makes money.
Playing costs nothing
Entering a real-prize raffle costs one free Sweeps entry. Sweeps are never for sale — you get them from the daily drop, the no-purchase entry method, or bundled free with a Gold purchase. See No Purchase Necessary.
How Solaffle makes money
Solaffle makes money on optional Gold purchases only. Gold is an entertainment currency with no cash value — it cannot be redeemed and Gold play awards only more Gold.
- No seller fee — nothing is sold on Solaffle.
- No cut of any prize.
- No entry fee, ever.
- No listing, withdrawal, subscription, or processing fee.
Creators receive nothing from entries
A creator who runs a giveaway funds the prize themselves and receives nothing from entries. It's a promotional giveaway, not a sale — no revenue flows to the creator, and none flows to the platform either.
Network gas
Every on-chain action is a normal Solana transaction. The signer pays standard Solana network fees, typically fractions of a cent. Solaffle doesn't add a surcharge.
If a raffle misses its floor
Every raffle sets a minimum entry count. If that floor isn't reached by the deadline, no winner is drawn and every entry is returned automatically on-chain.
Solaffle is currently live on Solana devnet. All raffles use test SOL — nothing real is at stake yet.
